Red's musical ability on the keyboards, guitar and fiddle led to session work.  He can be heard on various studio and live recordings by Country Music Hall of Famers Buck Owens and Merle Haggard as well as cuts by Curtis Leach, Kay Adams, and Bobby Durham.
